Calathes would have been a nice option as a player. I like his game. Tough. Young. Can shoot the ball. Asking about his upside is like asking how high a walrus can jump. Little athleticism but a good defender in spite of that. But he was signed already.

On another note, we have 3 points under contract. The injury to Exum was all part of the plan. Now we have a clear path for Raul "Nancy" Neto and Bryce "Kerrigan" Cotton.

Um, just like Koufos, Calathes is from the US, but family originally from Greece. Got a nice big contract and will get lots of playing time. Both are with the Greek national team and will play in Eurobasket.
