I know he's a tad undersized but the guy is a winner and his team in playing tonight. I think there is something to be said to having guys around that know how to win. Plus he's up for player of the year too.

Can we seriously consider making a thread just for mr Tennis and sticky it? We can name it Homey's curious fascination with D-Leagers. Seriously, i can't fathom how many of these threads are floating around in the underbelly of jazzfanz?? Is he why the original jazzfanz exploded? Sometimes I wonder if he misses jazz games for the D-League?

Nick Johnson is a great leaper and appears to the physical build to give himself a chance in the NBA. But I question his ability to shoot the ball against bigger defenders. Like Terry he will be looking for a spot as a backup SG and bench scorer. Ideally for his NBA prospects he needs to be a viable combo guard. Physically he has the tools to be an NBA player. He has shot the ball fairly well but based on his game log he struggles with the better teams FG% wise.
As an Arizona alumni, I always hope for the best for AZ players. However, to me Nick seems like the next Miles Simon as opposed to the next Jason Terry. I hope he is very successful at the next level, I really do. But first I hope he helps get the Wildcats a championship!
