After Jerel McNeal was released by the Jazz, there is one spot that might be filled by someone who is in training camp without a guaranteed contract. What do you know about these guys? Is there one that might make it? Should make it? You want to make it?

Not enough info, have to see them play.

The only one I know even a little about is Machado, and I hope he performs.
He could be a good passing backup pg, but we'll see.

I don't think anyone else has a shot unless they blow the lid off the gym. Not even sure Machado has a shot but we do need a 3rd pt guard, and no I don't count Burks as a pt guard even if he can play it in a pinch.

I don't consider Lucas a point guard really......

I agree with Machado, and you are right, it is the weakest spot on the team, but wow, imagine with Burke, if Machado makes the team and stays on next season, and Ian proves to be valuable, you have two second year point guards, a second year combo guard in Clark and a first year Neto coming in. That.... is a young pg position for the foreseeable future.

(notes: Yeah, Clark is really a 2 that can sub at 1 in a pinch, and Burks is probably more of a point guard than Clark is, but that doesn't help my argument, so obviously I wouldn't want to mention it.)

I think Trey Burke should be on the roster. Oh and that Hayward kid. Yeah that would be sweet.

Why is everyone in love with Scotty? He was an undrafted free agent.

I chose machado because he is the only one I have ever heard of besides cook. And **** cook anyways (right log?)

Wow, the Jazz gave Hayward an nonguaranteed contract? And somehow broke NBA rules by giving Burke one too? I am astounded at the depth that the team has fallen. Let's hope that the NBA reads this thread and comes to the bottom of this soon so that the management can be properly punished for this.

(either that or someone didn't read 'nonguaranteed contract' in the original post.)
