Creating a new thread is an important responsibility. It requires an ability to determine which events are newsworthy and which ones don't matter. Every poster needs a compass or guiding set of rules. Here are Homey's.

1) If a fringe player has a good D-League game it is critical that a thread be created begging the Jazz management to pick them up.
2) If a Jazzman has a bad game it is a good idea to create a thread criticizing management for ever picking them up.
3) If a former Jazz player does anything more commendable than clipping their own toenails a thread must be created to spread the word.
