I've always had an interest in photography and as such, I've saved a little money and am going to buy my first dslr. I have done quite a bit of research and have chosen to go with the Canon 60D with a quality zoom lens and a 50mm prime as my second lens. Is anybody else on this board interested in photography or have any experience with it? It would be great to get hear from you!
I am curious how a 50mm prime has worked out for others who have owned it. I am also wondering if a 50mm would be worth it since I am going with a 1.6x crop sensor camera, so it will be more like an 85mm lens. Finally, does anyone have any advice on other knick knacks to get with a camera other than a lens? I'll continue to do some research but some real world advice is always great!
