Ron Boone is blessed with the lack of that 5 year old over-eagerness to impress or make an obnoxious "funny" that is present in el Harp.

Agreed.

But in fairness to Harp, that gives him about 4 times the catch-phrases Bolerhack uses.

"Banged down the layup." "Banged down the 3 pointer." "Banged down the free throw." "Banged down the timeout." "Banged down the introductions." "Banged down the national anthem."

He sure has banged on the mind a lot.

There was a situation where a Jazz player was poked in the eye when working down low in the post, and Boler and Harpring were talking about wearing goggles for protection. Boler then asked Harpring "You were a banger back in the day, and you didn't wear protection." And Matt said "Hahaha, no, no I didn't."

Or something like that.

I can't completely remember because I was too busy laughing.

I voted for Freak. Wasn't an easy decision though. But I believe Freak can improve so that was the edge.

"Bull in a Kanter Shop" has to be the worst, least creative, non-nonsensical nickname I have ever heard in NBA history.

Yet it still comes up every game.

I dont see how anyone voted for Booner. I love the guy and he does have knowledge, but his delivery of said knowledge kills it for me.
Harpri....I mean Freak all the way.

I'm going with Booner. He was doing the color commentating with HotRod, if I'm correct, and after with Boler when the Jazz made their unforgettable playoff runs in '07 and '08. I'm so used to hearing him that as much as I love Matt, I'm choosing Booner.

One thing about those two is; the Jazz home games generally starts at 4 AM here and I have to lower the voice b/c of Harp which I would not do b/c of Booner.
