Pre and Intra Workouts

Anyone here use them? I've used Jacked and C4. I found that Jacked really gave me a spike, but I would feel my heart rate shoot up. C4 was good, it doesn't get me as hyper as Jacked, but still gives me good long lasting energy to last longer (that's what she said).

I'm going to try White Flood. I've heard good things about it and it doesn't have any creatine (want to get off of Creatine for a while).

I've never taken an intra-workout but wonder if any of you have? Does it really make any difference? I'm looking at Xtend.

The ingredients in C4 somewhat mirror the ingredients in the now banned Ripped Fuel that was a tremendous supplement in the 90's before the government decided that it was "too dangerous" for individuals to decide for themselves whether to take it. The one ingredient that it is missing is White Willow Bark (aspirin).

Ripped Fuel was not only great at elevating mood and energy it also was great at elevating metabolism so that even on days you didn't work out your body would burn more calories.

The problem I have with C4 is the obscure ingredient list. "Explosive Energy Blend" tells you what's in the supplement but not at what quantities.

Want to save a butt load of money? Take one 30 mg pseudo-ephedrine HCL, one 200 mg caffeine pill & one aspirin every 4-5 hours, three times a day. You'll get your energy burst and your elevated metabolism at a fraction the cost for any of the supplements you listed.
 
I never do any of that.
I drink a pre-workout consisting of VP2, which is a whey protein isolate, and a scoop of dextrose, then take that same drink again post workout.
Works pretty well.
