Proud of Ryan - accountability works

I’m curious if y’all agree, but Ryan has done a great job as our owner outside of the yellow jersey debacle
He definitely seems more aggressive at doing things than the Millers were but who knows if the payoff will be there? Smith inherited a win-now franchise that was working through producing the best record in the NBA the season the Millers sold - and it's been pretty rocky since.

Under Smith, Utah went from being hyped as a title contender to unloading all that talent and producing three-straight losing seasons, including the worst in franchise history. The Jazz is likely looking at four-straight losing seasons - if not more - and that'll match the Corbin/early Quinn era for longest stretch without a playoff appearance since the first time Utah made the playoffs in 1984.

If this works out, absolutely Smith will be deserving of praise. But it's still premature because he hasn't done anything yet really.

So far it has been abysmal unless you like the trade deadline and draft night more than winning games. Maybe it will work but too early to tell. As for the being the best draft ever, there is similar sentiment many years after the draft. Way too early to tell. I would say picking up guys in the draft like John, Karl, Donny, and Rudy is tough to beat.
