Questions on Harden, Lillard and other random topics

Billshelby said it best about going after Harden.

He is just too good, and we arent winning any championships without someone like him. Max him out if you have to.
Alot of people have pointed out both Hayward and Harden can play 2-3. Hell with that. 1-3 and on the right day probably a four. Harden of course much better. I dont ever see Hayward becoming a number 1 guy, so he needs a guy like Harden on the team. So you bring him in and adjust game by game who guards who and such

2. Lillard I just dont know. The whole thing stinks of bust.

3. Only in our dreams we trade Jefferson. That guy is a Jazzman for life.

4. Millsap was not good in the Spurs series. He looked like he just had a bad week. Didnt look himself. He missed a lot of easy shots.

I would **** myself if the Jazz landed Harden. Quickly becoming a true favorite of mine in the league. Of course, that's not terribly likely BUT the Jazz are currently in the position to have the technical ability to try.

If you have him and Hayward, you have one come off the bench because they have both thrived in that role. I would vote Hayward because I just don't know that he'll be able to be really good every night as a starter but I'd love to be wrong. He's also kind of a tweener and I think being subbed according to matchups and lesser opponents would suit him particularly well (and I think we saw that). But whatever.

4) Millsap is a pro. He gets out in transition, works hard in a variety of situations, and understands pace and teamwork as well as any player on the Jazz. He's a lot like AK. With that said, he has physical limitations, and Boris Diaw is crafty. In the first game or two, Diaw burned him badly a couple times.

Millsap was as bad or worse then Al in that series. He was nonexistent. He is good defensively on help defense, but on man defense there's a lot to be desired. We all know he is undersized and struggles to defend bigger pf's, but good God he was getting overpowered by freaking Boris Diaw in the post. His team work this year was almost as bad as Al's at times. There were times where he was just forcing stupid shots, and going outside the context of the offense, and forcing too many bad shots. See The whole month of February. This could be that he felt he had to compete with Al for shots. Maybe he will look better if and when Al is no longer on the team. I will however give him a little of a pass due to the overall offense being catered to one on one play, and horrible pg play, and not being surrounded by very good shooting.

If we get Harden, however I don't see it happening. Hayward would be fine coming off the bench.

I will say though, that this was Haywards first full year starting, and think he will become more consistent with age and experience, but liked what you said.

If we get Harden its because we max'd him out, and if we brought him off the bench that would have to be the first time in history a team paid a guy that money and didn't start.........but I see what you're saying. I would just make Hayward the 6th man though.
