Jaren Jackson Jr. has to play better. Him being available is not enough. This is the final year on his previous contract, which is at $35 million. Next year, it ticks up to $49 million. By the final year, it will be at $53 million. We shouldn't be paying this much for a fringe all-star player where, at best, he's the number 3 option.

Keyonte George is the 2nd best player from the 2023 draft.

I dont think anyone in this draft will be truly "special' outside the top 3, but getting Cameron Carr would be great. Keyonte being the primary creator buoyed by 3 long athletic shooters (Ace/Lauri/Carr) and a defensive anchor would be an interesting team.

To take out the Grizz, winners of 7 of their last nine on the road with Ja starting and the look on his face as KG the 2nd ate his lunch and then spit it back in his face was unbelievably special to me! And in the wake of the Rockets beat down where Ace did the same thing to KD! Lovin this season, absolutely scrumptious! This coach and this team is showing that they do have the capability and the potential to be special.

I know I’m not the only fan around here that believes that building a winning culture is more important at this juncture than tanking games to improve draft position. Mark my words, they’ll find a way and we won’t be going empty in the 26 draft.
