Beaten by the deadly combination of Jordan Clarkson and Kelly Olynyk.
Before it's too late, we should trade Kat and replace him with valuable parts for squad depth. The team where Kat is the #1 star can't reach any level
Team loss. Enough to go around. Karl had some spaz plays. 5 TOs. But he also had 15 points in the 4th and OT. Edwards had 5 TOs too, and it seemed like most of them were in crunch time. But he also had a pretty efficient 30 points. Russell was petty good, but some of the offensive disorganization was on him. Gobert was great, but you can't brick 2 crunch time FTs. It undermines all the good **** you did. Jaden seemed pretty good, but somehow gets a -19 for the game, by far the worst on the team. And it's Finch's job to sort all this out and get it together. It's just not together yet. It'll get there. Or maybe it won't, but I think it will.
Very disappointing loss but this Jazz team looks way better than advertised and is filled with veterans who’ve had success in their roles over the course of their careers. Wolves should’ve held onto the lead and should be the better team but things are clearly not falling into place for the new look squad overnight. Growing pains aplenty.
They wanted it more than we did. They just fought harder for rebounds, to get through screens, to go after 50/50 balls. They just fought harder.

Seem to be learning the same lesson over and over again from the Memphis series, we blast out the blocks get up huge and then allow the come back to begin. The team need to get that killer mentality and chemistry. Utah were immense, hitting 3s for fun from all over the place.
Imagine losing to a Mitchelless, Gobertless, O’nealless, and Inglesless Utah Jazz!!

They replaced mitchel with colin sexton though. Who isnt as much a down grade as people think. Plus got Lauri, Beas, Vand , Olynx added. Also have Gay, Clarkson,Conley. A lot of good ball players on that team.

Constant hero ball, no boxing out, middle school level BBIQ plays, not doing the little things that win you games. These are things that have plagued us forever and getting Gobert does not fix them. We should have lost in regulation by 20 but Towns' strategy of committing an offensive foul every single possession worked for the first time ever.

Jazz beating us is ideal for them. While it hurts their tank for VW slightly, it improves our pick going to them slightly. But, I still like how we match up with them. They have no big who is strong enough to contain Rudy. Outside of Vando they lack shut down defenders. Sexton is a borderline star, (is he even starting tonight,) and they have no other go to offensive players. We match up very well on paper. Finally, Denver falling down doesn’t make Utah taller or us shorter. Any team on any given night can **** the bed. For example. OKC beat Denver late last season without most of their starters when Denver was only a game or two ahead of the play in tournament. Utah might be slightly more enthusiastic than normal, but so should we be. We need to wash the awful taste of the opening 3rd quarter out. There is nothing better for that than feasting on bunny soup.

We have a lot of **** to sort out. Defense on 3 pointers and in transition were simply unacceptable. Communication is clearly non existent. Going away from ant in the 4th and OT seemed like a bad idea. Kat is not in rhythm at all to start the season despite his stat line. Super ****** loss but as long as we learn from it it's cool.

I don’t think they’re necessarily “better” than people thought, but they are really hot. They’re essentially shooting at Steph Curry levels as a team during these past two games (they’re 36 of 87 in 2 games).
Towns is washed . He can’t play anything other than the center. Even as a center he is a turnstile that gets bullied by actual centers. We’re ****ed.
That saying where the game is 80% mental and 20% physical has never been more true.
KAT is incredibly talented but it can feel like such a waste cause the dude doesn't have an ounce of composure or bball IQ.
KAT has been mentally weak for his entire career. Ship the baby *** somewhere else we need a culture of toughness. Cries like a bitch after every no call. Nothing to like about the guy.

All your complaints and observations about our ****** defense are true but also the Jazz made some insane contested shots in the 4th and OT. They're absolutely on fire right now and though I don't think it will last, they will beat a lot of good teams playing like this.
