Each of the Core Four has had at least one great game in recent weeks, so I thought it would be nice to put all the highlights in one place to view. Their recent play has me as excited about the future as ever.

Alec Burks

They were also all losses except the Kanter one. If all four could put that together at once...sweet lord Jesus.
 
Burks' ability to get to the rim, get contact, and make ridiculous plays around the basket are just special. Floored when anyone downplays it. He's pairing that innate ability with a game increasing in it's temperance, an improving jumpshot, and good passing ability.

I always try to keep my expectations low, but it's hard sometimes. The Jazz could be really good once they stop dragging their god damn feet.

Love reading post like this one.... burks is my favorite player on the team and the one im most excited to watch grow and improve..... I also believe burks to have the highest ceiling of anyone on the team..... though after last nights game, kanter ceiling has moved pretty high up there too!
 
We have some many diamonds on the end of the bench.

I hate the Corbin.

I hate the Jazz Management.

And I hate all the veteran players not called Millsap, Foye or Tinsley.

I've been curious to see how Alec would be at Small Forward since before he was drafted. Call me crazy but if he could pick up his D and defend the bigger guys, I could see him as an Andre Iguodala. Hayward is better at the 2 and if Burks was good at the 3 that would be epic.

During some of the other games highlighted 1-2 of the others had decent games.

For example during Kanters 23/22 night:

Hayward - 14 pts, 4 rebs, 4 ast
Burks - 10 pts, 7 rebs, 2 ast, 2 steals, 1 block
