That's an old, worn-out hat. Plus I think anything with the note logo is much more fashionable than the one he had on. He must somehow be a Jazz fan.

He must be a BYU fan. The only gear those guys wear are what they were given on Cosmo day 25 years ago. ;)

He wore a Vancouver Grizzlies hat during a sit down interview with ESPN, so I think he just likes retro hats. Probably could care less what team it is.

And BYU is clearly a national powerhouse that competes for NC's.
