He was not the only one to predict dire consequences of our increased involvement in the middle east and the Iraqi war, but he sure put it all together more succinctly and detailed than anyone else. Impressive.
 
He's the only politician I know of at a national level that has any integrity whatsoever.
 
This video may have changed my view from no opinion on Paul, to supporting him over other candidates.
I will have to do more research, but the accuracy of those statements is uncanny.
You cannot predict those things without a good head on your shoulders, and good vision for what will happen, and what is good for people.

It is one thing to guess what will happen, it is something else entirely to be able to do something about it.

True, but at least he got half of it right. I'd say that's about half more than any other candidate has done.

Does Ron Paul have a DeLorean? He's got to be the most forward-thinking politician around. WIsh he had a chance of getting elected. At least he can think through the consequences of political decisions.

Peter Schiff was another guy who was laughed at for his predictions.
 
The whole supporting Israel costing us money and pissing of the Muslims is a freaking no brainer. I think that he is manipulating the crisis of our downed economy it is one thing to say that we have gone into debt to pay for all of our dealings overseas. It is a who other issue if you advocate free markets when Wall Street, private companies like Fannie and Freddy, and companies underpaying/laying off employees is what is really killing our economy.
 
Definitely a great video post my friend.
Maybe this video will wake people up to the fact that Ron Paul knows what the "status quo" politicians agenda is.
It's easy to see once you look behind the curtain of the little soap opera they put on for C-Span.
The agenda is more war, more spending, and continued devaluation of the dollar.

This is the post of the thread (without video). While the detail that Paul got right is almost creepy, I see him as nothing more than having a good coach on your staff but as head, would be complete disaster.

Three more things:
1) Obama inherited an absolute disaster.
2) If he was he who would deliver us, he would have more Peter Schiffs and less former heads of the companies that led us to this economic calamity. And he certainly would never sign the NDAA.
3) We're doomed.

He had to take the ball and run with it. Unfortunately for him he has had the Republican party who's goal is to get him out of the White House by full court pressing him.

That being said the only thing that Obama can do to fix jobs is to increase Federal Jobs and with a media screaming that we are sinking in a bottomless deficit pool he can't sell the truth to the American people. That even if you reduce the tax rates you can't force companies to hire they take all of the extra revenue from the reduced taxes and pocket it. The only way to get the economy going is to get the 99% working and paying taxes. That will help us a whole h3ll of a lot faster than reducing taxes on the 1% and begging them to hire.

Has Obama lived up to his billing...NO. But, we have a poisonous atmosphere where the partisanship is out of control. Why?? Well, lets look at the Health Care Bill Obama passed he modeled after a GOP leading Presidential candidates bill. And at the same time he threw out if you have a better idea that the GOP could participate and they kicked and screams the whole time.
 
He had the repubs for only 1/2 his presidency. The only thing he can do is crete federal jobs? Wow. How about he can get the government the hell out of the way. I am not sticking up for the GOP they are messed up. But so is Obama.
