He had a really good grasp of space and timing for a rookie. And he plays hard. I hope he's stronger and a little more discipline about leaving his feet and about going straight up. It'd be a shame if we didn't see him for more than 20 minutes a game. If I were coaching, he'd be my third big.

If Rudy doesn't get playing time I'm bringing my jersey in to Coach Snyder and asking that he start in my place.

If Rudy stays on the bench then the crowd should start chanting Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!....until Quin puts him in. Personally, I just don't see how Rudy can't get 20-25 minutes a night.

I'm not predicting minutes, but I have no doubts this will be his breakout season.

I want to watch him guard Dirk. See if you can shoot over that, big ugly.

I want to see him block an Al push shot, or somebody's hook. It would make me giggle like trout on a sewage treatment plant tour.
 
So impressed by this guy. He could be extremely special if he stays healthy (always my worry for guys his size). He is catching the ball and going right up with it much better and just looks much more confident on the offensive side of the ball.

Defensively he's a frickin nightmare. His shot blocking and constant presence on PnR and in the paint change everything. He'll be our third big and I think he'll push Kanter for minutes if he doesn't come in ready.

Also, big guys aren't supposed to be as entertaining as Rudy. The two guys I'm most excited to see this year are Dante and Rudy. He's the anti-Hibbert.
 
I was most impressed by his block on the perimeter and the drive dunk after that.
It's tough for bigs to get out on those shots, let alone chase it down, dribble, and finish without losing the ball back.

It was impressive when Evans did it... I'm double impressed with Rudy.

Seriously, all 5 on the court will be rushing their shots with him terrorizing them all.

I'll be watching. If he does anything like that I may end up laughing non stop for the remainder of the game.
If I could turn it into a gif and make it visible as an avatar I'd do it.
