San Antonio gets to chose their playoff opponent!?

With 8 games to go, Jazz and Lakers are tied with Jazz owning the tiebreaker.
Jazz have 5 home and 3 away. I see them going 4-4, losing one home game to either Denver or OKC. Road losses to GS and Memphis are almost automatic; however, they could pick up a road win at Minnesota. So 4-4 os most likely; 5-3 is best case.

Lakers have 6 home game and 2 away. They have some tough home games, including Dallas, GS and SA. I see them going 5-3, the key game being against SA on April 14th. AS we know, SA often rests their starters heading into the playoffs. IF the Spurs want to play the Lakers, they can just rest Duncan, et al that game. If they want to face Utah, they'll play their regular roster and go after the win.

I think the Spurs organization and Popovich knows that the Jazz and Ty Corbin are their bitches so they'll go ahead and slaughter the Lakers for a first round "bye" against the Jazz.
