Lol, the title is for luring people to the thread, perverts!

The thread is about Jesus(not really), a scholar who happens to be a muslim that writes about Jesus, and a stupid ancherwoman.

What the hell is wrong with her? Is Fox News this bad?

made it a minute in.. couldn't go any further. i can't stand it when people misuse the term "begs the question". it's a logical fallacy people, not equivalent to "raises the question"... sheesh.. i know fox news is generally partial in their reporting, but did not know it hired such sloppy anchors

As a fan of sexy anchorwomen I am very disappointed. Begs the question, what's wrong with that chick?

1/10- would not do.

Jokes aside, that guy is full of himself and it's funny how the woman is trying to argue against him using the same point he mentions like 20 times in that clip.
Yes, Fox News is really that bad. They're incredibly Anti-Muslim. To the point where they're basically gathering up false quotes or quotes with missing background context to prove whatever stupid arguments they have.

I admire him for being patient with the retarded :D

Actually if you watch it a couple of times you can see Aslan's playing her for a fool. The day before the interview FoxNews.com linked an online article from some Christian Conservative website making essentially the same weak *** argument.

He came to the interview knowing they were going to try to pull the rug out from under him.

Possible. One thing is sure, his book will sell a lot. After that interview the guy had tens of other interviews. One of the better ones is here, but since Cenk is non-religious person, he kinda derails Reza sometimes, it's typical of him.

And loser conservatives wonder why their party keeps getting their asses kicked?

It's pathetic interviews like this one which just turns so many people off.

The GOP can be labeled anti-Muslim, anti-education, and offensive because their media makes it just too easy for democrats to exploit.

I'm expecting Beck, Fox, or Limbaugh to say something stupid about women or minorities. Maybe throw in a "women deserve to be raped" report or something. It has been a few weeks. They're due.

One thig that I wish anyone interviewing him would bring up is... What makes him qualified to take the stance that he has taken? He isn't a professor of religion or history. Instead of dwelling on his religion, look at his credentials. One might be surprised....

Huh? Didn't he say in the interview he WAS a professor of religion? Did he say something sly and trick me?

Enjoy:

Reza Aslan (Persian: رضا اصلان‎; born May 3, 1972) is an Iranian-American writer and scholar of religions. He is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside, a Research Associate at the University of Southern California Center on Public Diplomacy, and a contributing editor for The Daily Beast.

Aslan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in religions from Santa Clara University, a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa's Writers' Workshop, where he was named the Truman Capote Fellow in Fiction. Aslan also received a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology

Ok, i admit, it wasnt as bad as i had heard before. but still. he teaches Creative Writing! He isn't a professor of religion of history as he makes it sound like he is.

Haha, he said he was a professor and then separately said he was a religious scholar. That sly *** Muslim.

I didn't like the guy either but some of you guys are reaching. I don't think he was trying to be sly or implementing any prepense tactics and all.

Agreed.

The point is, Fox has a pathetic agenda. Yet, many completely idiotic voters take what they preach as doctrine. Which leads us to why our Congress is so completely and utterly dysfunctional. You can't elect chicken **** like Jason Chaffetz and Mike Lee and expect to make chicken soup. You can't feed the ill-informed masses (who are already prone to religious Ponzi Schemes and racism) the type of junk we see in this interview and not have it negatively effect our Democractic process.

Birth certificates, Benghazi... Hell, I just saw on Facebook a damn letter being distributed around blaming the bank bailouts on Obama. Yep. Because Obama was obviously the president in the fall of 2008. And Bush was campaigning against McCain.

It's no wonder why we can't get anything done.
