Skai Labissiere

Okay, rather than just rehashing the same old names, ala Lopo, I thought I’d try to think at least a little out of the box regarding our need for a stretch 4.

So how attainable is Labissiere? I mean, it’s the Kings we’re talkin’ about here and it’s not as if they’re the brightest organization or as if he’s the most prized possession.

What would they want? They seem to have their future backcourt, at least in theory, in Fox and Hield. And WCS has really made strides this year. So would Favors interest them at the 4, expiring or not? I mean, I know they have Randolph too but...

I'd imagine Skal is a prospect they'd have no interest in trading, especially if we can't offer a prospect in return.

Favors or JJ deals only really make sense for contenders.

I don't think he's attainable.. U gotta hear their Vet Garrett Temple (VP of the Players Association) talk about his upside, he thinks Skal is the most talented player on the team, and swears by his work ethic, says he never stops asking the vets questions about getting better...


I think Bogdanovic is better than Hield and their starting backcourt should be Fox and Bogs too FWIW..

They 100% absolutely planned to have no SF tho, I'd contend it's a hole their not trying to fix just yet... The Kings tank this year was foreshadowed long ago... The change to the lottery odds only further reinforced the tank... Look no forther than the timeline Vlade outlined after the DMC trade, he wanted 2 years, so he could tank this one for one last big piece and they can 'go for it' next year..
