I'd imagine with these things where we promise to draft a player for a team we have some kind of insurance that the deal actually goes through.
 
What I learned from this - the NBA has the absolute dumbest timeline of any sport. We drafted a player at #12 that we knew we wouldn't keep 2 days before the draft and 2 weeks after the draft until he could actually switch hats. So stupid.

Yeah a near miss... good thing everything worked out.


But yeah, hypothetically, what if Teague got injured between draft day and today? Would we be left with Prince?
