holy ****.

reminds me a lot of what jazz defensive basketball used to be before boozer memo.
and what jazz basketball was before allfense.

some nice analysis.

trouble is when they show one of the spurs offensive sets at 3:27(dump it down to duncan). that offensive set shows me what alfense lacks.
reminds me of malone and stock.

why isnt corbin doing that offensively?

also an analysis of defensive set. at 4:51 how the bigs got the backs of the guards.
al and millsap did not have that. i can see favors and kanter doing that. corbin needs to go, his alfense sucks on both ends of the floor

Corbin has tried it sparingly in game. It's something I've called for more of in the past, but to be fair to Corbin the Jazz don't have a pg competent to run it well and Jefferson sucks at passing. If u don't think Corbin tries working in such basic plays, that's absurd.

Do you really want Jefferson dumping off wild passes in traffic for Mo to chuck, if he actually can catch the bad pass? I don't.

The SAS playoff series was a clinic on Jazz player limitations. They couldn't do anything right outside alfense. Watching that goes a long way in the Corbin vs. talent gap debate. General Corbin E Lee can be far superior and still lose due to talent/money/location.
