Stanton Kidd

Signed a contract with the Australian team Melbourne United. The team he signed with is in 3rd place in Australia and he is an injury replacement for Casey Prather. Their coach helped the Jazz out in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and that's where he saw Stanton.

The team he is joining has the 3rd best record in the Australian league just ahead of the team the Jazz pasted in the preseason. The teams ahead of this team are Andrew Bogut's team and Bryce Cotton's team. The stars of Kidd's team are Melo Trimble a point guard from Maryland and 1st team all big 10 and Shawn Long a bigger player from La Tech. Trimble played in the 2014 McDonald's All American game that included Trey Lyles, Grayson Allen and Emmanuel Mudiday. It appears the Aussie teams can have three Americans on the team. It will be interesting to see how Stanton fares. His first game is on Boxing Day.
