Stats for Portsmouth

And to answer your question, I like David Stockton. D. Stockton as our 3rd pg instead of Garrett. Maybe that would tip the scales for John to come coach us.

I hate to quibble about insignificant players, but David Stockton isn't even close to Garrett skill wise.

Garett is way too overrated on this board. Do you people not realize he played 15 mins a game, shot 38% from the floor, only got to the line 0.2 times a game, only scored 3.5 pts, only dished 1.7 assists, but still had 1.1 TOs. The kid was as inefficient as they come, and only looked good because Trey also sucked and JLIII was even worse. The kid's PER was 7.10!!!!!! 15 is the threshold for AVERAGE. He's not even half as efficient as average. JLIII posted a PER of 5.23, and Trey got close with 12.64, so by comparison it is easy to see how so many of you got fooled.

If signing David Stockton as our 3rd PG meant us getting John as HC, an assistant, or even a player development guy, then we should do it without considering Diante. We don't owe Diante anything. Hell, he got a full season of serious NBA rotation minutes to beef up his resume and drive the value up on an overseas contract should he wish to go that route.

Those thinking Garret should be a serious piece in our future plans should check these stats.

Seriously, the kid shot 25% from the field for the month of April. He just isn't NBA caliber material for a serious team.

David Stockton can't even hold Garrett's jock

like i posted in the last David Stockton thread, heres a list of 15 pgs' that id expect to go undrafted id take over Stockton (plus I'm probably missing a few new International guys)

Keith Appling
Bryce Cotton
Joe Jackson
Kendall Williams
Aaron Craft
DeAndre Kane
Justin Cobbs
Leo Westermann
Markel Starks
Xavier Thames
Scotty Wilbekin
Ian Miller
Chaz Williams

Was there anyone on the list that could help the Jazz next year.

Andre Dawkins could be a Troy Daniels type.
Josh Huestis could provide some defense.
Joe Jackson could be the last PG on a NBA roster, same with Markel Starks
Neils Giffey could bring some shooting and rebounding to the table
