About 1.5" on the roads and 4" in grassy areas. When I first saw the grassy areas I thought it was like 8" but my wife soon corrected me.
We gotz snow and lots of it.... most I've seen since I arrived in 2005. (Which isn't sayin a lot, but still.. )
Even global warming can't touch this.
Global warming predicts that, do to increased moisture in the air, those areas that normally get snow will get more snow.
That's not an area that normally gets snow.
it's awesome. i opened the door to put the kids in the car this morning and evee ran and dove right in it (her first snow). she didn't realize it was cold and immediately started flipping out lol.

Funny. Where I am I also guessed that we got 8" but my girlfriend soon corrected me too. She measured it: one foot.About 1.5" on the roads and 4" in grassy areas. When I first saw the grassy areas I thought it was like 8" but my wife soon corrected me.
It has more to do with the jet stream sinking unusually low. While global warming could cause erratic fluctuations in the jet stream, you can't really blame a single event on global warming.Global warming predicts that, do to increased moisture in the air, those areas that normally get snow will get more snow.

Absolutely, just like no single event would run counter it (see title of OP).
