Hey Trump supporters! GFYS

You're about to get what you deserve.

I doubt that this media circus around affairs that Trump had in the past will really hurt him or his image. Lots of politicians and celebrities probably have mistresses. It looks like media indulging in lurid stories. Okay, so he dated hot women. Sounds like British tabloids.

So he's banged centerfolds and porn stars. He's propositioned a ton of beautiful women. So what?
I'm not a Trump supporter. I wasn't a Clinton supporter, either. Both are deplorable people. But I don't see the relevance. We've had Clinton, Kennedy, etc. that have had affairs while in office. These affairs were before he was elected. He's guilty of being a bad husband. He's guilty of cheating a lot of people out of money by abusing the bankruptcy laws. Media is just interested in ratings; there's nothing here that can force him out of office.

Well... once upon a time I was told I should respect the president. Further back, the man in that office was sold to youngsters as someone you should strive to be like... a role model.

Having a really, REALLY hard time trying to reconcile telling children to strive to be like donnie.

So, amongst everything else, that's what.

There was apparently a lot more details that 60 Minutes described as "tawdry", and that they chose not to include. Although spanking Trump with a magazine with his photo on the cover conjured up a comical image that might embarrass him I guess. That, and the fact she said she was not attracted to him. Probably bruised his ego there.

I heard a couple of things that might be problematic, for somebody:

Trump's lawyer, Cohen, may have violated campaign finance law. Second half of the 60 Minutes story was focused on that aspect.

And we can be sure people will dig deep in an effort to identify the guy who threatened her with physical harm in 2011 if she didn't drop the story she was to have published about her encounter with Trump, as described here:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...threatened-2011-over-telling-my-trump-n859911

And her lawyer tweeted a photo of a disc the other day, whatever that portends...

The only substance in this story is the laughable claim by Trump's attorney that he paid the 130K out of his own pocket to buy this woman's silence. This will most likely cause problems for Cohen down the road; but in the end will probably have little impact against Trump directly.

She was threatened seven years ago? Great - prove it. No? It's a non-story.

Other than that what do you have left? Trump's a sleaze-bag? OK, not news.
