The Utah Jazz draft class included a pair of players in Kentucky's Trey Lyles and Boston College's Olivier Hanlan. Unbeknownst to the team, they also "drafted" 6'10" Elite Daily writer Connor Toole, who posed as a Jazz draft pick in Brooklyn Thursday night.Toole hung around outside the Barclays Center, taking selfies with people on the street, before being admitted to the floor of the draft proceedings. Actual draftees Jahlil Okafor, D'Angelo Russell and Kristaps Porzingis walk right past Toole, who blends in with the crowd.
"So it turns out if you wear a suit, act really confident and are also 7-feet tall, it's really easy to get on the floor of the NBA draft," Toole says in the video.
After the draft, he takes his impersonation talents to Manhattan, placing a Jazz hat on his head and calling himself "the newest member of the Utah Jazz."
Strangers flock to any tall person in a suit on NBA draft night, apparently. Toole opens a champagne bottle and solicits high fives, free drinks, phone numbers and congratulations from multiple people.
However, don't expect to see him shooting jumpshots in Salt Lake City anytime soon.

Edit: Mods please merge or delete (I do include a snippet of the article and embedded the video, so I'd say merge since none of those things are in the other OP)

This is hilarious. It also shows how most people are leeches who want to suck off the fame of others (that one chick was literally trying to suck the fame off his face).
