Morality?

There is a difference between rebuilding (not immoral) and not using the tools you have to win (immoral tanking).

It seems that your argument is that "not using tools" to win is immoral, but "not aquiring tools" to win is moral. Do I have that right?

In either case you are making choices that lead to short-term losses, in exchange for the possibility of long-term wins. Hard for me to see the "moral" distinction.
