... dare I say, the new version of Stockton & Malone we've been looking for isn't Williams & Boozer, but is actually Hayward & Favors?

Unlike Williams and Boozer, Hayward and Favors are humble guys who are dedicated and would put their heart and soul into a team. They're the type of guys who would play without much hassle or complaints.

Seems to me that they really embody the Utah Jazz the way Stockton and Malone used to..

Well, after reading the rumor in another thread that super-shy Favors has no friends on the Jazz and just sits alone in his hotel room all day I wish Hayward would hang out with him. Hayward's friends with Evans - they should make their circle a little bigger and bring the kid into the group.

I wonder if there's a tinge of jealousy and fear that Favors will put someone out of a job that might make some guys not really feel like going out of their way to be friends with the guy.

Sorry to get off topic. I hope Hayward and Favors will be friends on the court AND off. There - back on topic sorta.

Favors seems like a tough guy to make friends with, he isn't the most socially outgoing. I would like Jefferson or Millsap to reach out too him though...

As far as the Hayward hype: It's out of control. And I love it, what a depressing season. We needed this optimism desperately.
