I had to look it up. I don't even use the favorites feature in my web browser, never have, not once. I don't have and am not interested in a facebook account. I don't think pinterest is for me.

I was afraid to look it up at work, thinking it would have something to do with my pron/fetish preferences or something.

I was joking, btw. It's a total chick site. Especially popular amongst Mormon women it seems. Although I think it does have some utility to straight men, in that it is much more insightful than a quick Facebook check if you are looking to try to get an early scoop on a girl you are going to ask out/are going to go out on a date with that you don't really know that well already.

I wish. I haven't looked into Pinterest much beyond going there a few times, but I'm guessing it's one of those sites that has value to those that use it, but not actual monetary value but is still has private stock valued at 500 million or 1 billion just from pure hype. About 9/10 of the **** on the Internet that looks like it should be worth something is just a big money pit and the other 1/10th that is actually worth money is all extremely overvalued.
