I wish Sloanfail would be so honest. Instead we'll get another, "I told you this team would [select at least one: suck, would miss boozer, not be as good as last year, not be as good as everyone thought, etc.].
Comments after Sacremento game:
Bell and Kirilenko are back in my good graces. Not seeing most of the games, my faith was shaken by reading Jazzfanz. I hope Gordon and CJ are paying attention to Bell's play, because they could learn a few things from him about defending on the perimeter.
I enjoyed the highlight of the Fes assist to Bell. Based on the Denver game, Fes should learn to back up sometimes to avoid people drawing the foul by jumping into him. Hayward too.
Sloan made a smart substitution inserting Hayward at the end to defend the 3.
Jefferson has shown some good stuff on both ends. He's blocked guys one on one. He should look to pick up some more blocks on HELP defense, which are easier blocks to get. He missed one last night on the highlights where all he had to do was stick his arm out, he wouldn't even have had to jump.
Jazz won by winning the turnovers battle. Good teamwork on the steals. Jefferson had 3, nice.
