Well, the draft is truly interesting because there's no clear cut #1. You can argue Irving, but a lot of people think the Cavs would be better served by taking Kanter at #1 and then they should have no worse than Knight at #4.
There are always trade rumors, but most teams stay put on draft day. Looking at the mock drafts we all made in the other thread, I think the lottery is no more unpredictable than any other. Where Euros go is always questionable in every draft.
It is nice to have a GM who knows when to keep his mouth shut. I've always respected that in KOC. Yes, as a fan, I WANT more info. I'd like to know yesterday who the Jazz are picking, what trades are being pursued, etc. But that's not fair to the players, especially if deals fall apart. Part of me hopes Kevin does some dealing on draft day. Part of me hopes we get Kanter/Jimmer. But I still believe Knight/Singleton (or possibly Hamilton) are the picks KOC needs to make.
