I think Dwight Howard on the Lakers might just change the equation for OKC. Harden at a max-ish deal is far better than Perkins at his salary for any team.

Still, I'm hopeful the Thunder keep Perkins, because that means someone else HAS to go, at least eventually.

OKC should have done a trade like the one rumored Harden for Beal. Not that I think Beal will be better than Harden( even though he could be), but so that they could roll over some of that talent without paying that luxury tax bill.

I think OKC is going to do their best to keep Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden together for at least two more years before breaking them up for financial reasons. That said, it wouldn't be bad to offer Millsap or Jefferson for Ibaka just in case Sam Presti is finally due for a dumb move.

I agree. OKC wants to give it another good push and add some more talent. I agree with the 2 year projection as well. Presti has his act together, non of their guys will go cheaply.
