I agree.
The whole "just one game" criticism is dumb.
Most coaches in every sport say that they have to take one game at a time or we need to just forget that game and move on, its just one game

I think with Ty the frustration came from him saying that after every game of a long-ish losing streak last year. I agree you don't want a coach to be myopic about it, but if you say it's just one game after losing the last 5, that isn't really honest.

When a team loses as much as the jazz do the coach has to do something to keep the players positive. As a coach you sometimes say things you don't really believe.

I want Ty gone as much as the next person, but he gets criticized for the dumbest things like this one game thing.

Just a general question...

What does the phrase "it's just one game" mean anyway? That a ****ty performace is not indicative of the overall talent level of your team?

What happens when you have 42 "just one games" out of 64? How many "it's just one game"'s do you get before the phrase loses all meaning?
