Had never seen that...... that is pretty awesome. I did google him though, and it's not a scholarship offer. He got offered preferred walk-on status....but that's still pretty good. That usually means you should have at least a couple mid-major offers coming your way. I would definitely tune in if he's playing college ball on TV somewhere in the future.

Or it just means they want the press that comes with having a one armed kid on the team.

Absolutely. I was going to add that stipulation, if you get preferred walk-on status at a school like Florida it usually means that, but certainly if they gave him that for any other reasons than basketball skills, the offers probably wouldn't come. Coaches like having able bodies to practice against though with that preferred walk-on spot....so he must be good enough to provide that at least. I haven't looked into him too much.

Yeah, probably a favor/PR. 11/game is not bad though. I'd be curious to see actual game length footage from his high school and how he deals with traps and all that..
