Come join Kansas City natives Alec Burks (#12 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft) & Tyronn Lue (11 year NBA veteran and current coach for the Boston Celtics) in the Alec Burks & Tyronn Lue Basketball Academy. In an effort to give back to the community they grew up in, Alec & Tyronn will be conducting basketball camps across the Kansas City Metro area seeking to develop a positive basketball player on and off the court.
These camps will consist of lectures, basketball drill stations, games and contests. Each camp is great for fundamentals training and is excellent preparation for campers looking to take their game to the next level.
This camp is designed for players to understand the value and importance of strengthening your body as an athlete and also honing your skills as a player. not only is it important for us to stress the value of these skills, but it is just as important for our players to learn for themselves what they need to do to become a consistent player. This camp will teach valuable fundamentals of the game, while making clinic drills and games competitive and fun. We will consistently encourage and teach the importance of teamwork, hard work ethic, and having a positive attitude.
