To posters who start negative threads about players not named JL3

You're moronic, misguided and should probably get a vasectomy or your tubes tied (depending on your gender) so as not to continue polluting the gene pool. This is the most exciting time to be a Jazz fan. We've got an excellent mix of exceptional talent, athleticism, youth and potential with a great coach getting his first shot at a head NBA gig. We'll be playing with house money this season.

Gordon, Trey, Alec, Dante, Derrick, Enes, Rod, Rudy, Jeremy, Steve and Raul are all names that will deliver us our first title. Believe it.

If you got a problem with any of them on the roster, you might as well become a dirty Laker fan.

Anyone who has already started negative Trey or Gordon threads is damned to hell.

I like this thread. But, no. Those guys does not a title equal.

I think they do - even if it's five years from now - and 75% of them are still on the squad. Hayward and Favors are the closest to being All Star-caliber players, and Burks is primed for a breakout season getting 30+ min a night. Burks proved to bring a crucial element to the court with his ability to attack the cup/finish/get to the line.

Two main things that need to happen for the Jazz to win a title down the line is someone (I still think it's Trey, could be Burks) becomes the guy with the killer instinct down the stretch, and Kanter grasps defensive principles to become (at worst) serviceable. Offensively, Kanter will be as skilled as most bigs but he's been a liability defensively - which was to be expected for a kid with basically no experience entering the NBA.
