Trade alchemy º●○•♣

I could see a Pierce for Pau Gasol trade benefing Lakers and Celtics, but I don't know if those two teams have ever or would ever trade with each other.

Al Jefferson

4

Paul Pierce.

Straight up.

Why wouldn't it happen? GO!

It wouldn't happen because if the Celtics trade Pierce, it will mean they're giving up on winning a title anytime soon and they'll be looking for someone younger than Big Al.

i heard boston like jj redick aswell. he might help make up for the loss of paul, but i dont want paul.

Yep. Boston would be doing this to get young talent, although Al Jefferson actually qualifies as young talent by Celtic standards, as he's only 27 or 28 right now.

The Jazz would say no because they don't want another underperforming $16 million or $17 million contract on their team, unless the Celtics sweeten the deal with a good pick or player swap in the Jazz's favor.

They can do a trade like this for clearing the cap space for next year (it would give them around 30 mil. cap space) and they can target guys like Smith and Reddick also if they please with Big Al's performance they can keep him too. We got lots of cap room for next year so Pierce contract is not bothering for us and this trade would give our young bigs more pt. Add in Wilcox as 4th big to the trade and its a good trade imo.

They'll never trade Pierce but it would be somewhat amusing to see Kevin Garnett for the SECOND time in his career re-sign for less money while management dismantles the rest of the team around him.

Why is it that in virtually every trade suggested on this board ESPN (Hollinger's analysis) has Utah losing games. Are we that far off in our analysis, or is Hollinger? Are we just barking up the wrong tree, or is it a case of the grass ALWAYS being greener?

Cause its not (Hollinger's analysis) virtually advanced enough to see that we have good back-ups at big man rotation, if you consider most of the trades on this board include Sap or Big Al. I believe most of the time even Hollinger himself wouldn't agree with what "Hollinger's analysis" saying.
