Clippers would be the team I would try to get him to with a 3-team deal of some sort. Clippers got a lot of trade chips

Is Brantley on the deal to make it work financially for the Magic ? Cause looking at salaries I think Clarkson, Dok and Paschall are enough to intake Harris, but I guess you can't trade a guy you just waived early in the season.

Actually I like Harris more than Smart as a trade target, as although he's not as great as Smart as an on ball defender, he should fit better, without being a diva, nor a chucker (at least not as Smart), night and day as a shooter, and could/should be cheaper/easier to retain in the offseason.

Ryan might not fancy it as much as it's his money, not mine, going into a sizeable bigger chunk of tax. But if I were his advisor I'd say that for paying some good amount of luxury tax, would be a better idea doing so to what gives you the best chances at winning (and if he wanna make profitable investments, sports teams may not be the best ones).

I understand what all of you say, and you are probably right. But JC is an entertaining spot in an otherwise truly boring season doomed to fail.
