Why not trade Jefferson or Okur for Mo Williams. the Clips already have Bledsoe (injured but promising), Billups, and Paul. They need another big guy and this would make a lot of sense if Okur and Jefferson come out of the gate strong... Discuss.
 
Anyway, yeah this has been around a little already and I've thought about it.

I think it makes a ton of sense for the Clippers, I don't know if it makes as much for the Jazz. At least as long as Harris is on the roster (in no sensible universe does a team pay a combined salary of ~$40 million for basically the same guy (not that good, one is a little faster, one has a better reputation as a shooter).

Mo also didn't have a good year last year. But I still like him, I think he has a game that can age well. I'd really like a PG that will be able to spread the floor (Williams might not be a deadeye anymore, but reputation is a hell of a thing). He also seems to be a big fan of what the Jazz have stood for as an organization.
 
I said this in an earlier thread, but here goes a rehash:

I'd do Okur for Mo + second-round pick.

He and Harris are basically the same, but our backcourt isn't good and another body couldn't hurt. Harris and Mo could slide over to the two for short stretches, which could help. It also gives us the flexibility of trading Harris if the right situation comes along.

That, and I don't want to see Okur get over 10 minutes a game, and I know he will. I guess we should throw Raja at the Clips too... for the same reason. take him.

EDIT TO ADD: I think I'd rather have Williams than Harris. Just a hunch right now. The extra shooting would be nice; and I just have memories of better passing... dunno.
