There are some DLeaguers that can play:
After going undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft, Daniels joined the Charlotte Bobcats for the 2013 NBA Summer League.[4][3] On September 30, 2013, he signed with the Bobcats.[5] However, he was later waived on October 10, 2013.[6] On October 18, 2013, he signed with the Houston Rockets[7] but was again waived on October 26.[8] In November 2013, he was acquired by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League. On February 3, 2014, Daniels was named to the Prospects All-Star roster for the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game.[9]

On February 21, 2014, he signed with Houston Rockets but was immediately assigned back down to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.[10][11] On March 3, 2014, he was recalled by the Rockets.[12] On March 5, 2014, he made his NBA debut playing a total of 92 seconds.[13] He was later re-assigned to the Vipers multiple times.[14]

On April 25, 2014, Daniels was the unlikely hero when he hit the game-winning three-point shot with 11.0 seconds remaining in overtime against the Portland Trail Blazers in game three of their 2014 NBA Playoffs first round match-up, which the Rockets won 121-116.[
