Former Jazz draft pick showed up on the waiver wire yesterday. He had a decent year with the Clips a couple of years ago where he averaged 10 ppg. If Quin ain't going to play DedEx, why not give this guy a shot? He was drafted in the 2nd round after Niang, Bolomboy, Marcus Paige and Isiah Cousins but before Chris Collinsworth. He is a putrid 3 point shooter but can compete.

I remember Locke saying that the Jazz loved Tyrone and that it was a really hard decision to let him go. Anyone remember why we waived him? Can't remember the roster move we made because of it.

He and DedEx were similar players playing similar positions. His second season here he did not light it up in summer league and he was either let go or not signed. He then caught on with the Clips. I think it was more Quin decreeing with his Duke MBA and law degree that he was not a prospect.

A decent defender and a good team player but he was a shooting guard who couldn't hit the three to save his life; that was the most frustrating reality of his game.

Yeah when he shoots a 3 the warning of "get all the women and children out of here" as the ricocheting brick can be dangerous.
