Tonight the NBA Draft Lottery will be taking place as we learn who will be the proud owner of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. While the draft is not set to take place until June 26, we already know what the draft prospects will be getting placed on their head when they take the stage to shake NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s hand after being selected.
The draft caps for the NBA are very similar to what we saw from the NFL when New Era Caps took over as the official headwear provider of the league. In their first season, the draft caps featured a logo front and center with the city name in the backdrop and team nickname under the brim of the cap.
There is one fantastic feature on the NBA Draft caps that sets them apart, however, with the bottom of the brim emulating the team’s jersey.
