What's new

Utah Jazz have talked to Jerry Sloan about coming back to the organization

Asked about Sloan possibly being hired back by the Jazz, general manager Dennis Lindsey replied, "No comment."

Wow, i'm reading into this and there is definitely something major going down.

Heard Sloan is coming back to play shooting guard. I think the direct quote was "we just need a body to give some fouls, make the plays nobody wants to, and bring an ice pick to the fight." Ladies and gentlemen, the original bull.

Though I had some issues with Jerry during the later years, he would be miles ahead of Ty, so if we're stuck with Ty, if Jerry was there to help, it would be some consolation.

I can't even imagine the emotions involved having coached for as many years as Jerry and to be sitting 10 rows up from the floor ... watching.

I was 120 miles away and was couldn't believe what COrbin was doing, it must have looked real bad for Jerry from row 10.

Have the Jazz learned how to build suspence? They are doing a good job of it this summer. KOC is out, but we don't know when, Sloan could be in but not sure how, Malone is in but nobody knows his level of involvment, Lowe had his case continued so we won't know about prision time till this fall, Jazz need atleast one maybe two new coaches.

Then there is Lindsey on the draft--'We could move up, we could trade back, we really like some players in the 14-21 range. Atleast 7 roster spots to fill.

It feels like new territory for the Jazz--I kind of like it.

Nope. I heard he's coming back to advise Ty on his substitution patterns.

If I were Ty, I would go and take some Malox. This isn't exactly a vote of confidence and if the Jazz stumble out of the gate, it would be quite easy to spring the trap door and here's Jerry and Phil back in the saddle again.

I think I just peed my pants a little. Malone and Jerry coming back? We need Stockton now.
