What's new

Utah Jazz @ New York Knicks 5:30pm Mountain Time *Official Game Thread*

Or better yet a Coaching change.
C'mon. We're close enough to .500 on the road this season. Even against NY we almost won two of those quarters. We won two quarters against Milwaukee and two against Indiana. That sounds like .500 to me.

You are definitely overreacting. Point guards for one struggle in their first year, especially one on a bad team. Plus he's only been playing in the NBA for like 4 months, give him some time, goodness.

also dont forget point guards should run the offense to be succesfull.
or they would just be a spot up shooter who dribble the ball up the court.

Is there another coach in the league who wouldn't start Enes and/or Alec ahead of Marvin and Richard? Like seriously, I want Jabari. But it's becoming mind boggingly frustrating to see 2 vets suck all over the place and 2 youngsters provide instant offense and energy.

While the loss doesn't bother me, the way they lost does. I can take a ****load of down-to-the-wire losses, but rolling over early in the game doesn't bode well. Losing in the NBA is easy and I really hope this is a case of the ****-its and not getting comfortable losing. All fears I had that Marvin might be brought back have gone out the window as it's obvious he doesn't give a **** since the trade deadline came and went. His solid play was a plot to get out of here.

Only 13 other teams passed on him. If Utah is already counted for you also need to add in that Philadelphia had two picks.

That's still a lot of teams! At the time it was a good decisions. Maybe GA will be better than Burke, maybe he won't. It's too early to be sending them off and deciding what they are going to accomplish. Let's give Burke sometime to develope. Ok.

I heard that Corbin had a say in it, but wasn't Burke the best choice on draft day? We needed a point guard and Burke was valued as the best pg on the draft. We were all pretty excited on getting him.

I'll take any lose now. If we have a lot of down to the wire loses, that means we are too good to get a top pick.

Rocked my new Burke jersey at the park today. The german kids didn't know what to make of it. "Das ist so geil oder. Wer is die Jazz"?

Good idea. Wait for GA to show that he has one of the most diverse skill sets in the NBA and his value will be too high to trade for him.

Good thinking.

Sure, the coaching contributes to his lack of effectiveness. However, aren't you concerned that those exact same concerns mentioned prior to his drafting are manifesting themselves so profoundly in games since January?

exactly sinc e january.

before that i saw him go alll cowboy style and getting lots of assist.
since january he dribbles up court and passes the ball to hayward, are someone whos job i tis to get to hawyard.
their is no more pick and roll. no handsignalling he has to do like set upp play.

we dont know hwta we have in trey.

there are 2 versions. pre januari and since january.

seems like the since january is more a product of crobain, then a product of his skills
