VIDEOS: Derrick Favors Career Night vs Pacers

5:50 left in the 4th:
-Offensive rebound, missed tip-in
-Offensive rebound, pump fakes, spins into an up-and-under attempt, runs into triple team that becomes a quadruple team, gets shot off and in.

Monstrous performance. I think he's ready to feed.

to people who criticized this way back when-- how much of Derrick's current success is due to the slow development of practising against elite offensive players like Millsap and Jefferson?

There's been zero acknowledgement of this-- and I'm sure if you asked Derrick, he'd ramble for minutes about how pivotal they both were for his development.

people all around the league are showering the Jazz FO with praise, for their patience with Derrick. One of the best examples of a team not giving up on the slow development of a big, in recent memory.

you saw the importance of practice when Favors went up against Whiteside in Miami. Man, that matchup was one-sided. Derrick absolutely destroyed Hassan-- using every trick in the book to get his shot off against a shot blocker. It was so obvious that he had been practising against an elite one for the past several months, and knew exactly what to do with Whiteside when it was game time.
