Agree with Trout.

The problem with trying to be cute and making it Jazz-themed in any colorful way is that 1) the colors are ugly, 2) they contrast horribly with text. The site does well usability-wise as is.
 
All I ask is we get a funny custom Jazzfanzz banner. Would add some character to the bland design of the message board (like most).

Ours would have relevent Jazzfanzz funnies (shirtless Trout, JC/Satan, Mamacita Moses, meat canoe girls, dolphin ******, mountain Clank the clown posts, Jaron Collins, Fes, Sir Kicky *** fellating a easter bunny, Ostertag, a hack, the hillbilly handicap kid that always dances at jazz games, excruciatingly embarrassing jazz night out pics, that stupid fat cop in a little cop car pic that Archie posts when he cries about the mods, NOAS/Dragon's hilarious transformation into thinking he's a player because he gets with easy sluts in ghetto states, The Thriller being hit with a golf club several times, over and over...and over, beanclown im cool because Michael Jordan let me wipe his *** posts, the password to the secret forums, etc, etc) in it of course.

Just put a Bluesrocker font-color spin on this and call the new skin good.

That reminds me, I actually made a pretty fun pic a few years ago on the old board that was a very large collage of jazzfanzz and just general Jazz funny stuff in a single pic. Had everything, from Trout/UB to a Torrey Ellis (had d-will with a fake mustache) reference. It was posted in a Laker playoff game thread I believe. It was the one where Archie posted that running of the bulls pic with Gasol being chased (not funny) and I took that pic and just added a ton of **** to it. If anyone can use the way back machine and can somehow find it, I would love you forever. (don't waste your time)
