What's new

Was this a sign?

Man Burke has some range on his shot. Nice video.

Yes, thanks!

Also we tend to forget, but Burke has fantastic ball handling skills.. that should enable us to have very very low TO's. Also I think he looks like he could get to anywhere on the court that he wants to make those passes with that dribbling skill.

Also looks like he can dunk it if he really wanted/needed to.

I listened to McCollum's post draft interview today and he said he talked to Lillard prior to the draft and Lillard said something along the line of:

"It's easier to score in the NBA than college due to the amount of spacing, but defense is harder..."

I think this is another thing that will play into Burke's advantage. His scoring at college should translate.

Kid can get way over the rim. Did you see that block of a Louisville guard in the NCAA on a fastbreak where he pinned the ball against the backboard? His elbow was above the rim.

This video is great. He makes about 4 guys either fall or stumble while attempting to defend him.

SJF...are you the same one that used to play college ball back in the day and is like 6'8-6'10?

I imagine I've dreamt of being 6'8 - 6'10". Unfortunately the only thing Trey Burke and I have in common is our height - well unless you would consider Burke wildly good looking, then we would have that too.

Yeah I remembered watching that game last year, it was one of his better games... He's really showcasing his ball handing skills in that game.

Another thing to keep in mind is he can go to the rim with BOTH his left hand and his right hand, which is a great asset to have.
