What's new

Way Rad Mock

If Austin were really that well regarded, he would have come out this year probably. He'll be a better player next year though.

I needed an excuse to use this gif.

Haha.. love it.

I know bruh. I'm Mormon. I'm ALL on Jabari's junk.

But Wiggins is...Wiggins.

I've watched them both for three years already.. Parker is real.. Wiggins is real potential.

Don't love that logic.. lots of highly regarded kids go back to school.

Taking extra years to graduate doesnt make you retarded. Some people are just slower learners than others.

So if we combined the drafts, at 14 we would still be able to get a possible all star? Dang. Next years darft is so awesome.

Regarded sounds like retarded.

"he is highly regarded."

"bro, dont say that, my cousin is regarded."

With all due respect, one has a g and the other a t...

on that note, a new joke..... you know where I like to chill? Between the 'e' and the 'a' in 'regarded.'

So just for fun I quickly penciled a mock combining players from the coming draft pooled with the '14 guys.. I didn't over-analyze, but thought it might be fun.

1. Andrew Wiggins (’14)
2. Jabari Parker (’14)
3. Julius Randle (’14)
4. Andrew Harrison (’14)
5. Noah Vonleh (’14)
6. Willie Cauley-Stein (’14)
7. Aaron Gordon (’14)
8. Nerlens Noel (’13)
9. Marcus Smart (’14)
10. Alex Len (’13)
11. Ben McLemore (’13)
12. Dante Exum (’14)
13. Otto Porter (’13)
14. Isaiah Austin (’14)
15. Victor Oladipo (’13)
16. Joel Embiid (’14)
17. TJ Walker (’14)
18. Mario Hezonja (’14)
19. Anthony Bennett (’13)
20. Trey Burke (’13)
21. Glenn Robinson (’14)
22. Montrezl Harrell (’14)
23. Cody Zeller (’13)
24. Steven Adams (’13)
25. Mitch McGary (’14)
26. Kasey Hill (’14)
27. Shabazz Muhammad (’13)
28. CJ McCollum (’14)
29. Michael Carter-Williams (’13)
30. James Young (’14)

Good stuff, but please explain why you think Cauley-Stein would be higher than Noel, given that if the draft happened this year, Cauley-Stein would probably be doing good to crack top 10.

I gotta ask. PKM if you added Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors to this draft where would they get drafted? Outside of top 10? This is pre NBA meaning only hoops summit and early Kanter and college Favors.

Just curious how u value Aaron Gordon's age? I mean he's at least half a year younger than the top 4.

Nice job. I am not surprised by your list. The class of 14 has a chance to be an all time great class. I think James Young is too low.

Watching UK every play, all year, we played better when WCS was in the game.
Noel is a monster shot blocker, but WCS was a strong and fast enough to keep guys away from the rim.
Noel had tons of steals, but WCS just played good d and didn't gamble as much.
Noel is RAW offensively.. WCS has only been focusing on bb for a few years and is already way ahead.
WCS is a legit 7'1.. broad enough to easily carry 275lbs.. and was an ALL-STATE wide receiver in football... dude is a CRAZY athlete at 7'.
I like WCS's upside more than Noels.

It's kind of hard to do that once a player has played in the NBA.. because it's hard to 'unknow' what you know. So, I'll answer based on what we have seen from them and guessing what others in this draft will do... (again, it's a difficult proposition).

Kanter - #4
Favors - #7

Yeah.. I have him lower simply because I think he's going to need to get stronger before he would go a lot higher on this list.

I don't give it a ton of consideration. I look at his skillset and feel pretty certain on projecting him.
