Westbrook CANNOT get a "triple double" against the Jazz!

...and never will, at least not on our current squad! ESPN is breaking down all the possibilities in connection with Westbrook's amazing run on triple doubles, and have mentioned the remaining teams Westbrook has NOT gotten a triple double against, and the Jazz are one of them! Westbrook WILL NOT get a triple double against them because he won't be able to grab 10 rebounds on them! He can get the points and he can get the assists....but he won't be able to get the 10 rebounds! Oh, he could end up with 10 turnovers...and get it! Weigh in!

I'm thinking he won't even get a double double against us. Especially at the pace we play at. Unless he goes full stat pad mode.

I have no idea how Westbrook gets so many rebounds. Maybe the Thunder heave a lot of long 2's and 3 pointers, which would result in erratic, long rebounds. But otherwise, the chances he's getting 10 rebounds over Gobert/Favors is extremely low.

His best bet is getting a triple double through points/assists/turnovers.

Because he plays for a team that allows him to try and average a triple-double instead of getting back for transition defense or an outlet pass

His teammates concede non-contested rebounds to him. It's a joke.

He might get a triple-double just because the ball is always in his hands, but he will be extremely inefficient. Jazz D is too good.

It is a joke, indeed. One of the team goals of the Thunder this season is for Westbrook to average a triple-double.

BINGO! Exactly why I said he would never get a triple double on the Jazz! Won't be able to grab 10 rebounds against our front line! Would have to get 7 "clanger" rebounds and that's very unlikely!

I wouldnt bank on it. Considering we don't go for offensive rebounds due to getting back for transition defense, I can see Westbrook getting 10 defensive boards... And as others have stated, OKC will give Rus those uncontested rebounds. Adams and Kanter also box out knowing Rus will clean up everything and start the transition.

If anything, I cant see him getting 10 assists if we defend like we did against Cleveland.
