What would Utah give up for Rajon Rondo?

So what would you give up?
Millsap+your nets/GS pick ?

We aren't taking Harris and Big Al for Rondo as some have suggested, then we just become the Utah Jazz lol

Sorry but the Jazz and Celtics just aren't good trading partners. Jazz are not swapping their youth/picks for Celtics age because Jazz don't have a shot at a title. Celtics aren't giving the Jazz their only youth for Jazz age because without Rondo they don't have a shot at a title and would be completely screwed talent wise after this year.

You want another title shot then gamble with Millsap, Harris, Bell, and Chucker for O'Neal's expiring, Bass, and Rondo.

Harris
Allen, Bell
Pierce, Pietrus, CJ
Millsap
Garnett

Good luck.

I also think that trade severely hurts Utah this season. As much as I hate to say it, depth matters, even if that depth is CJ and Bell. Add in the loss of Millsap's huge production and Jazz turn south for the remaining 35. Rondo fills a gaping hole and improving our pick is great IMO. That also provides a roughly $6 million savings next year.

Rondo is a headcase. THe extent is not publicly known but you have to ask yourself why would the Celtics want to trade a young talented PG? The answer is his personality and his moodiness. Today the Boston media held a poll and 60 percent of the fans want to trade him. So what is up with that?

DW was moody and got frustrated when the team started losing but from what I read DW got along with most of his teammates. Rondo is a loner and doesn't seem to be connected with any teammates. The only teammate I have heard him talk positively about is Perkins who is not even on the team. It doesn't matter because the Celtics are going to want either Favors or Kanter. I would not give up either one of those guys for a moody Rondo.

^^ I know Jonny (Rondo), personally. He's misunderstood. He's a perfectionist and expects too much (?) out of his teammates, coaches, etc. When at UK, there issues and they always involved him demanding more than others wanted to give. He was intense as hell in practices, halftime locker rooms, etc.

Still creates issues, but I wouldn't call him a headcase.
