the Kings our like 15 million under the cap and thats means they can take upto like 25 million and not be over the L. Tax. And with this trade they give up some nice pieces in Thompson, Casspi, and Garcia. But they take back 2 former All stars in Billips and Ak. Utah would probably have to throw in 3 million to make it work for them. But its worth it.
And why wouldnt Denver Take this trade?
Millsap Vs Favors
Price vs Harris
Casspi vs Morrows
J. Thompson vs draft pick
Dalembert vs draft pick
Hayward vs Draft pick
Plus they cut there Salary this year by 14 Million. And every piece is build for the future except Dalember whos strictly for cap relief.
So sum it up I like this trade better then the one New Jersey is offering becasue you get an Allstar type player in Millsap thats had a lot of his contract paid (thanks Portland) and youth at pg sg sf pf and c. So why would they hate this deal?
And Utah gets a great deal yes, but someone has to always come out on top dont they? Utah does take on some Salary this year and they would have to next year with Melos extension. But if Utah deliver Melo Nene and Garcia all locked up for the next 3 years I dont think hes leaving? And Melo wants his own big 3 and Wouldnt Dwill the greatest pg in the game with a 20 and 10 type player in Jefferson classify that? With a deep bench of Watson, Miles, Garcia, Memo, Fez
Its a homerun for everybody. Just think about how open Jefferson would be with Memo, Bell, Williams, Melo out at the 3.
